This week, some members of Ritually Rooted traveled far to the steep volcanic terrain of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala for a much needed reset.
Here we learned how to slow down again
Reignited fire under our entrepreneurial spirits
And released what no longer serves us with the safety of our chosen family.
This retreat was hosted at Maestro Valley, an eco sanctuary in the foothills surrounding Lake Atitlan. This retreat center has been crafted as such a beautiful and sacred space for guest from all over the world to come and recalibrate. Our meals were prepared by locals, with local, high-protein farm-to-table seasonal ingredients supporting vitality. Everything about it honors our values, by being fully solar powered, having food forest and permaculture initiatives, a closed-loop water system, and reforestation projects. It was amazing to be with our community together in such an incredible place and IN REAL LIFE!
We had a Temezcal Ceremony guided by an amazing shaman
Time in the jungle to reconnect to our inner spirit
Community circles & Guatemalan cacao circles
NLP, business, sovereignty and business workshops
Exploring nearby villages
Sound baths & restorative yoga
DANCE PARTIES!!!
This was our very first International Ritually Rooted Retreat, and it exceeded every expectation we had set. Every time we gather with our community we remember why we started RR in the first place; and it is truly to be the ripple we wish to see in the world. Being surrounded by our community is a testimony of the impact we can have when we step into our purpose & surround ourselves with likeminded people. We become the change we wish to see in the world, and then amplify it x1000 when we stay true to ourselves as the black sheep, crunchy cowboy rebels we are ;)
THIS is why Ritually Rooted exists.
We leave Guatemala with full hearts, deeper roots, and an even stronger commitment to this work.
